Spirit of optimism: Beyond the limelight of international politics

This photo essay grew at ZMO in the context of the Leibniz Collaborative
Excellence project Crafting Entanglements – Afro-Asian Pasts of the Global Cold War (CRAFTE), headed by Dr. Anandita Bajpai. It was inspired by
CRAFTE’s objective of zooming in on actors in the Global South as effective
co-shapers, advantage seekers, and political engineers of (their) postcolonial futures.
