Article analysis extreme leftist excesses in addressing religious issues within the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (TASSR). This work examines the period when Soviet policies pushed aggressively secular measures that marginalized religious practices and institutions. The text explores how these "leftist deviations" led to significant social tensions and reactions among the local Muslim population, affecting religious freedoms and community stability.
